I am a 20-year-old college student from Massachusetts who started writing a blog when I went abroad to Spain during my Junior Year at University. The principle focus of this blog is photography, since I love it so much. I will try to have multiple pictures in each post. I also want to share my experiences in a foreign country with my friends, family, and whoever else happens upon this blog.
As an explanation of the name of the blog, "viajera" means "traveler" in Spanish. Adding the suffix "-ita" to words in Spanish implies that the subject is small (however, in the context of "viajera", I may or may not have made up this word...). Additionally, my name is Rita, hence the capitalization of the letter "R" in ViajeRita. Simply, "ViajeRita" means, "Rita, the small traveler".
