I'm sorry, but could traveling BE more stressful? Yes, everyone knows that everything goes wrong when you try to go from point A to point B...but, honestly, does getting a bus need to be this hard?
My flight from the States leaves at ~6pm from Logan Airport in Boston, MA. I arrive at London Heathrow at ~7am, London time, and connect with a flight to Madrid that lands at ~11am. From there I have to go through customs, get my luggage, find the metro, take the metro to the bus station, and take a bus (for ~5 hours) to Oviedo. NBD.
My goal is to take the 2pm bus, which doesn't cost a fortune, to Oviedo, but there are only FOUR SEATS LEFT. Sigh. So, now the question is, do I pre-order a ticket for a bus I may or may not make because of travel complications, or do I risk it and hope there are seats if I make it to that bus? Not to mention, I'm supposed to be in Oviedo by 7:15 to meet my host family, and I will have no phone to call my program coordinator when things go awry.
Sigh. I know I'm supposed to be excited because in 3 days I will be IN SPAIN, but right now, I am just really stressed out. There's just too much to worry about.
Wow thats stressful!
