Long time, no see! I've been wanting to write a new entry in my blog all week, but I have been having trouble writing. Clearly this is going to be a short entry, which I'm sure will be nice after last week's novel.
Nothing too Earth-shattering happened over the course of the last week. Classes are going normally (though it feels like I'm in high school again because I have all my classes in one hallway on one floor of one building...). I've gotten a nice taste of what home-sickness is, and the constant precipitation is definitely not helping.
I went out this weekend on Friday and Sunday night (Sunday for the...game). I got more lost on my way home Friday night than I've ever been in Oviedo. I probably doubled my walking time walking around the city. This coming weekend I am going to two cities in Galicia, another province in España: La Coruña y Santiago de Compostela. I'm going with ESN (Erasmus Student Network), but I'm hoping some Umassers will go, or other people I know...
In other, random, news, I created a map on maps.google of the places I want to travel to and the places I have traveled to while I am here: ¡Europa!. Hopefully I will be updating this soon with plans for Semana Santa (Holy Week, when my parents are supposedly visiting me ;) ). I welcome any suggestions anyone has about where I have to go, the best way to get somewhere, or when is the best time to go somewhere. I'll throw this link up on the sidebar so it's always available. Also, if you didn't already know, I've been updating one of my pages called, "Oh the Places I've Been" with a list of cities with pictures so you can keep up with where I've been this semester that way as well.
As always, ¡Hasta Luego!
*Besos*
(Just think about it this way: in all likelihood, you didn't have to stay up until 4am to watch them lose.)
